Welcome to PBH

Before we discuss your child’s first appointment, allow us to welcome you to PBH! We are pleased you have chosen us to care for your child’s mental health and development and we promise to take great care of them.

During your child’s first visit either in person to one of our offices or telepsychiatry (virtual), Dr. Priti Purushothaman, our Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist,  will begin by introducing herself to you and your child. At  PBH, we provide compassionate and evidence-based treatment to help our patients manage their mental health. We are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and live a fulfilling life.

• Initial Contact
  Please click on the appointment button below to send an appointment request (preferred). OR please leave us a voicemail or message on our contact phone 407-488-7266. 
• We will call you to conduct a quick telephone assessment to determine your goals and schedule an appointment.
• Complete Intake Documents
  Once the appointment is scheduled, we will direct you to our patient portal to complete the online intake documents before the appointment.
• Intake Appointment
  Attend your intake appointment for a thorough evaluation, either in person or via telepsychiatry (virtual). During this appointment, we will identify your concerns and work with you to build a tailored treatment plan specific to your needs.
• Follow-Up Appointments
  Schedule follow-up appointments to assess your response to treatment and continue working towards your identified goals.

As an out-of-network provider, we do not accept insurance. However, we will provide you with the necessary documentation (super bill) to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Depending on your out-of-network benefits policy, you may receive up to 80% reimbursement for our services.  

Child and Adolescent Intake Appointment

Dr. Priti Purushothaman will meet with the patient and caregivers, may obtain information from the school and therapists, and gather data to make a clear diagnosis. Together, we will determine a treatment plan and assess if medications are necessary.

• Duration: 90 minutes
• Cost: $450

Follow-Up Appointment

We will evaluate the treatment plan and medications to ensure everything is working well for you. Follow-ups can occur once every 1 to 3 months depending on your overall progress.

• Duration: 30 minutes
• Cost: $225
