Before moving to the United States, Dr. Priti Purushothaman received extensive training in psychiatry in the United Kingdom, spending three years as a junior resident within the National Health Service (NHS). She then completed her residency and fellowship at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Purushothaman then dedicated her expertise to a community mental health center in Elyria, Ohio, where she provided comprehensive psychiatric care for children and adolescents. Her career continued to flourish as she joined Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, serving as a faculty psychiatrist. In this role, she was appointed Assistant Professor at Ohio State University, significantly contributing to future psychiatrists' academic and clinical training.

Dr. Purushothaman relocated to Orlando, Florida, in 2019 and continues her passion and services to improve the mental health of children and teenagers in the state of Florida. Her diverse background and commitment to mental health have made her a highly respected professional in her field.
